Even the most solid relationships experience strain during the transition to parenthood. Sleep deprivation, never-ending household chores, and new financial concerns can lead to profoundly deep stress and a sharp decline in marital satisfaction — all of which affect baby’s care. It’s no surprise that 69% of new parents relationships experience an increase in conflict, disappointment, and hurt feelings.

The research-based Bringing Home Baby workshop is designed to prepare couples for life with baby and helps them become the best parenting team possible. The workshop is taught in a relaxed and supportive format, parents learn to how to strengthen their relationship and nurture baby’s development during this demanding time. They build onto what Dr. Gottman and his fellow researchers found is the best predictor of marital adjustment after baby arrives: the quality of friendship in the marriage.

This workshop combines scientific research and time tested activities to improve the quality of life for babies and children by creating stronger families. It teaches new parents how to maintain relationship satisfaction and encourages healthy social, emotional, and intellectual development for their children.

This transformational workshop is $300 per couple.
